Just a 20-minute drive away, you can visit Playa Cacao — a small, charming beach where locals come to cool off on weekends.
Unlike the crowded beaches of the Spanish Costas, this one has a peaceful, authentic atmosphere that makes it even more special. The beach lies at the edge of the rainforest, and nature lovers can enjoy a scenic hike starting right from Playa Cacao.

There’s also a cozy restaurant by the beach where you can relax with a refreshing drink and a delicious meal

A local attraction definitely worth visiting is the Narnia Waterfalls in Golfito.

You can find them just a 15-minute drive from the B&B. You can easily drive right up to the entrance of the property. The family who lives there will let you in after paying a small entrance fee.

After a short hike of about half an hour, you’ll reach the waterfall. Enjoy this breathtaking natural wonder and take a dip in the cool, crystal-clear water.

A bit further away, about an hour and a half’s drive, you’ll find the beaches Playa Pavones and Playa Zancudo.

Playa Pavones is one of the most famous surf beaches in the world and definitely worth a visit.

A river flows into the sea here, so you can also swim in the fresh water, as the ocean current can be quite strong.
